The indications are for fair to overcast weather to-day and probably tomorrow with high temperatures and northerly winds. The Rainfall Rainfall for 24 hours ended 9 o’clock this morning, .OOin. Rainfall for previous 24 hours, .131 n. Rainfall for January to date, l.OOin. Average rainfall for January, 3.121 n. Rainfall for year to date, l.OOin. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECABT. (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering tbs WalkatoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate but freshening northerly wind. Weather cloudy and unsettled with rain gradually developing. Temperatures warm. Seas slight to moderate. General Inference: A depression is approaching across the Tasman Sea, pressure being very low in the southern portion.
