PATERANGI NEWS
ENJOYABLE DANCE Another very enjoyable dance was held in the Paterangi Hall recently. Excellent music was supplied by Mr F. Beet, and Mr E. Stanford was M.G. A novelty dance was won by Miss Margaret Macky and partner. Among those present were:—-Misses Ella Shaw, Kitty Macky, Ann Hollister, Ruby Silvester, Nell Cheyne, E. McNicoll, Sybil Kesby, E. Steiner, Joan Silvester, Dorothy Hollister, Betty Allan, Peggy_Graham, Yvonne Ryburn, Muriel Cheyne. Lily Silvester, Mavis Macky, June Forbes, Hath Bell, A. Steiner, Iris Hancock, Tess Brennan, Curl Macky, D. Bloxham, Rene Hancock. JOLLY PARTY A very enjoyable evening was spent at the new residence of Mr and Mrs W. C. Harris, when they entertained a few friends. Games and dancing were enjoyed, and a pleasant evening was brought to a close with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne." Among those present were:—Mesdames W. C. Harris, S. Graham, J. Geddes and J. Cheyne. Misses K. Harris, Muriel Cheyne, Thelma Graham, Lilian Cheyne, Beryl Richards, Nellie Cheyne, Yvonne Ryburn and Valerie Cheyne.
