At half-time the score stood at 11 to 5 in Australia’s favour. The ground was covered with snow. The Australians at first were unwilling to go down on the hard ground and shirked tackling, but later set- < tied down and passed cleverly and j backed up consistently. The\ scored six tries, of which only one was converted.
