90 DEGREES REGISTERED THRICE IN A WEEK (By Telegraph.—Press Association} BLENHEIM, Friday For the third time in a week the shade temperature of Blenheim yesterday reached 90 degrees. Tlie hottest day so far this summer was on Christmas day, when the reading was 95 degrees, topping the preceding day’s temperature of 90 deConditions on the Wairau Plain are again very dry. This is favourable for harvesting, but pastoralists and gardeners are anxious for rain. Campers and motor tourists, of whom there are record numbers lids ■year, are revelling in ideal holiday weather.
