BROWN DEFEATS ANGAS (By Telegraph.— Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday Playing brilliantly in every department of the game A. D. Brown, the Auckland player, deprived C. Angas or the Canterbury title, which Angas has held for many years, when the two met in the semi-final of the men’s singles event in the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s championship tournament to-day. Brown will meet Barnett in the final.
