Copyright LONDON, Dec. 28 The New Delhi correspondent of the Daily Telegraph slates that such peace as is possible in a country where there is uu regular administration and every to Wazirislan. The troops who went to quell the disturbances worked up against the Government by the Fakir of ipi are gradually being drafted out of Hie eoirnlry. but during I lie recent peace talks the Fakir began a rumour that the Government was withdrawing from Wazirislan. It is therefore important to avoid withdrawing troops in such a manner as to encourage tribesmen to launch attacks on wlial they might believe lu be retreating forces. There is n.. present prospect of reducing the troops to the level of Hie pre-revolt garrison. Winter conditions make it reasonable to suppose that there will be no more trouble before the spring.
