Min. Tuesday 91 62 Wednesday 92 60 Mean Temperature, 76 deg. The barometer reads 30.00 and has very little movement. Partly fair and partly over cast weather is indicated today with lower temperature, easterly winds prevailing, unsettled conditions following. The Rainfall Rainfall for 24 hours ended 9 o'clock this morning, .OOin. Rainfall for previous 24 hours, .OOin. Rainfall for December to date, 2.84in. Average rainfall for December, 3.BSin. Rainfall for year to date, Average yearly rainfall, 46.32in. SPECIAL FORECAST. (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Moderate but freshening north - easterly wind. Weather cloudy to overcast with scattered rain. Temperatures warm, seas rough. General inference: The tropical cyclone -is now centred south-west of Norfolk Island; it is likely to continue to move south-west and to lose intensity. Pressure is low over the western and south-western Tasman Sea and relatively high east of the North Island. Forecast, moderate.
