THB HAMILTON OLUB. >L. COOPER’S ENTRY WINS. The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club conducted a race on Saturday from Timaru, an airline of 505 miles. With ideal conditions prevailing, the birds were liberated at 6.15 a.m. The winning bird was home at 7 p.m. and wins the silver cup donated by Mr J. Reid. Results: L. Cooper's, BUG, 377, 1268 yards, 1; L. Cooper's, BH, 8, 1268 yards, 2; L. Cooper’s, BGH, 116, 1268 yards 3; L. Monds, BGH, 608, 1262 yards, 4. Also competed: F. Woodhall, 1259; H. Brown, 1257; 11. Davies. 1250; F. Woodcock, 916; W. Grace 907; Bushel! Bros., 473; G. Crtbb; Billington and Next week's race will be flown from Christchurch.
