A ROYAL EXAMPLE
Women who complain that they “haven't a thing to wear”— and that means every member of the sex—sigh enviously over the wardrobes posssessed by the much-photographed. But they can all take heart from the example set by the Duchess of Kent - —one of the acknowledged leaders of fashion. Six times, at least, during seven ■weeks in the months of May and June, this smart Duchess wore the same frock on official occasions. Perhaps it was her favourite spring suit, this tailored two-piece of red end whie printed silk. Sometimes it was worn with silver fox furs, sometimes without, but on each of the six occasions she wore the same saucerbrimmed Breton sailor hat of coarse red straw. Her shoes were black glace Jtid courts, with small bows of the kid. The Duchess of Gloucester, tco, has w’orn the same redigote suit on more than one occasion.
