OBITUARY.

MR CHARLES WEST A VETERAN ODDFELLOW < The death has occurred at’ Otorohanga of Mr Charles West, at th« age of 82. Arriving at Auckland from England in the ship Warwick about 65 years ago, Mr West had, except for a brief period In the South African Police Force, resided in New Zealand ever since. Mr and Mrs West spent their early married life at Ormondville, Hawke’s Bay, but later they occupied virgin land at Honikiwi, King Country, where they lived for over 20 year’s, in later years they lived in retirement at Otorohanga. Mr West was one of the oldest three members of the Oddfellows’ Lodge In New Zealand. MR A. W. O. TRAVERS (By TelegT*nt> —Pr*«« Association > WELLINGTON, Monday Mr A. W. O. Travers, until less than a year ago accountant to the Wellington Harbour Board, died suddenly at his home at Hataltai this evening, aged 57. He was a son of the late Mr K. F. Travers. He leaves a widow and six daughters.
