This Week’s Competition.

WORD BUILDING. This week Peter thought he would give you a word -building competition and as the Springboks are very popular Just now he thinks it would be a splendid idea for you to take the words ‘Springboks v. New Zealand’ and see just how many different words you can make out of them. You must not use proper nouns (e.g. Betty) nor can you use more than one part of the verb (e.g., if you have used ‘be’ then you may not use ’been)). Only use' the letters in each word the number of times that they are used in your two words. So set to work little people. Peter thinks that there are dozens and dozens of words to be found. All entries to reach Peter by Saturday, August 7 and to be written on ONE side of the paper only and to have name, age, and address attached. Senior: 13 years and over. Intermediate: 10-12 years. Junior: 9 years and under.
