and who has arrived in America for a lecture tour, alleged that the Church of England had been inspired by hostile forces in the United States to persuade American charities to abandon their sponsorship of his lectures. Mr Jardine threatened to “blow off the lid and expose the real reasons” for the abdication in his first address at Baltimore, which takes place next Thursday. He added that a political alMance between Earl Baldwin and the Archbishop of Canterbury had lorceo me aoaication, and was leading to the disestablishment and dlsendowment of the Church. Plans of the Duke and Duchess ol Windsor have been officially announced at Castle Wasserleonburg, where they are spending their honeymoon. Mr Dudley Forwood, equerry to the Duke, spoke to a limited number of British and American journalists, lie said: “ The Duke and Duchess will not return to England for a considerab’e time. They will slay at Castle Wasserleonburg for three months. They will leave the castle in the autumn, but they will stay in Austria during the winter. Members of the Royal Family were expected at Castle Wasserleonburg during the next few months, Mr Forwood added.
