MOTORIST IMPRISONED. SAME OFFENCE YEAR AGO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Frlday. Sentence of 21 days’ hard labour and suspension of his license till May 31. 1940, was imposed by Mr J. M. Luxford, S.M., on Alfred Samuel Erickson (57), painter, for intoxication in charge of a car. He crashed into the back of a parked car at Miramar, lie said lie had about a dozen beers. A year ago lie was fined £lO and had his license suspended for three months.
