FALL IN NOTE ISSUE. DAIRY ADVANCES HIGHER. (By TeIPR-rnnli —Pr#»««s Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. I The Reserve Bank return for the j week ended Monday, July 12, was gazetted to-night. The statement Is balanced at £31,141,761, or £511,558 more than at the close of the previous week. Following the fall of nearly £1,400,000 In the level of Government deposits shown In the previous week’s J return, there has been an Increase of i £477,585. The deposits of the tradi Ing banks are also higher by £307,533. j The note issue has decreased £71,351 in value, while other demand liabilities are £203,090 lower. The sterling exchange reserve shows a recovery of £350,243 from the decrease of £1,796,000 shown the week i before. Advances to the Dairy InI dustry Account are £42,615 higher. Advances for other purposes, which , have' been stationary at £200,000 for I many weeks past, have now increased by £IOO,OOO. | The statement with variations com- ; pared with the week before is as follows :
