SILVER BOND AT GEELONG. United Press Assn. rlec. Tel Copyr'rht. MELBOURNE, July 14. At tho Geelong races to-day, the Pink Coat colt, Silver Bond, won the Torquay Juvenile Trial Handicap, six furlongs, by three and a-half lengths, in lm 15s. Silver Bond Is a rising three-year-old from Victory Bond, by Paper Money. Victory Bond was a very speedy mare, a full-sister to Countersign and half-sister to Tommy Dodd. Silver Bond is owned by Mr G. J. Barton, Dunedin, who secured the colt at the yearling sales last year for 550 guineas'. He is half-brother lo Tray Bond and Fair Weather.
