‘QUIETLY VANISHED.”

GERMAN FILM PRODUCER. ACCUSED OF JEWISH ANCESTRY (Times Air Mail Service.) LONDON, May 12. Reinhold Schuenzel, one of Germany’s leading film producers, accused by Nazis of having Jewish blood in him, quietly vanished from Berlin, and is now in Y r ienna, says a Berlin correspondent. Cause of his disappearance is the last film—“ The Land of Love”—which lie was scheduled to make in Germany before going abroad. Horrified Nazi censors found that Schuenzel’s version often did not coincide with the script. Schuenzel had included several unauthorised scenes, had cracked jokes at the expense of the Nazi regime. “The Land of Love.” due for its first nigh I on April 30, was withdrawn. Schuenzel “fled” to Vienna on May 2.
