PETER PAN’S LETTER.

GIRLS AND BOYS, —

And now you are all back at school again after suoh weeks and weeks of holidays and Peter Is sure, by the happy little faces he passes every morning on his way to the office, that none of you are really sorry to be there. Peter thinks that the rcse garden would be lovely, but he likes the “all sorts’* too, so perhaps they will have one of each. The last of the autumn leaves have been swept away and suoh lovely bonfires the Twins have been having, when their Mummy and the Wendy Person were not looking very hard. Then, too, Peter saw the loveliest bowl of red, red roses the other day, and the scent was beautiful, and he will be very sad when the very last of them has faded away. Competitions will be beginning next week, little people, so out with your thinking caps and have them all brushed and ready to wear. Peter hopes that every single one of you will try to work out every competition that Is published and who knows perhaps you will, like King Bruce’s spider, succeed after many attempts. So best of luck to you ail, little ones and big ones, and many happy evenings In front of the lovely warm fires Peter knows are burning In your grates. From your happy —
