STEWART, of Waimai, who is going right out of dairying, we shall sell on the above date at the Ngaruaw'ahia Saleyards: 100 DAIRY CATTLE, Including: His whole herd of: oO YOUNG JERSEY DAIRY COWS and 50 SPRINGING JERSEY HEIFERS. AUCTIONEERS’ NOTE.—These cattle were all bred on the property by the vendor from original Taranaki Stock. The herd has been milked on Mr Stewart’s property at Waimai and has done well ■with him there. There has never at any time ben any kind of disease in his cattle, which will come forward in good condition, the cows calving in August and September. The heifers, which are 2 4-year-elds, will calve In July, August and September, the majority being due in August. Mr Stewart does not run the hull with his heifers as yearlings. These cows and heifers coming frorh high sheep country will do exceptionally well in the Waikato. And On account of MR L. C. PICOT. of Waimai. who is going out of dairying, we 'shall sell his whole herd of 27 YOUNG JERSEY & SHORTHORN CROSS DAIRY COWS. NOTE.—These cows are all carrying their third, fourth, and fifth calves, will come forward in good condition and are due to calve in July and August. They will be guaranteed sound. This herd have shown excellent returns to the vendor, and coming off the hills as they do will prove a highly profitable investment to buyers in this district.
