SEQUEL TO A DUEL.
DOCTOR SENT TO PRIBON. SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlgrbt (Received May 29. 11 a.m.) BUDAPEST. May 28. Dr. Sarga was sentenced to two months for fighting a duel with Vitex de Vazsony. ‘‘l want to get them off my chest,” said Franz Sarga, a Hungarian doctor who challenged 19 men to duels, on February 24. He was referring to his three remaining duels, one of which he fought with a former suitor of his wife’s. Vitez de Vazsony, a hank official. Vazsony recently testified against Dr. Sarga in the latter’s lawsuit against his wife’s family. Dr. Sarga subsequently refused to acknowledge Vazsony’s salutation, and stated that lie replied to greetings only from gentlemen. The result was a duel of 14 rounds, which lasted 90 minutes. Vazsony was wounded in the neck in the eighth round and broke his knee in the 14th round. Tlie doctors then stopped tlie contest.
Dr. Sarga, penniless husband of a wife who belongs to an aristocratic family, issued the challenge to duels "in defence of my wife’s honour.”
