Mr M. J. Savage, Prime Minister of New Zealand, attended a Coronation rehearsal In London yesterday.
Mr D. V- Bryant will leave for Wellington to-morrow evening.
Mr A. B. Jordan, superintendent of the Small Farms Board, Te Kulti, will leave for Wellington to-morrow night.
Mr C. Water, of Auckland, manager of Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons, will retire shortly after 38 years’ service.
Dr. F. D. Pinfold, of Hamilton, will leave for Wellington to-morrow night and sail for London on the Port Dunedin on Tueeday.
Constable A. P. Packer, of Frankton, lias received notification of transfer to the Kaitaia Police Station. He will leave Frankton in about a week.
Guests at the Hamilton Hotel Include Messrs H. Sladen (Christchurch), J. H. Dalton, M. Andrews, T. D. Allen, A. E. Eagleton, J. Eagleton and H. Ronaldson Auckland), R. W. H. Oliver Waverley) and J. Payne (Wellington).
The passengers by the Awatea, which left Sydney for Auckland last night, included Sir Standish O’Grady Roche, A.D.C., Mr W. P. Endean, M.P. Tor Parnell, and Mr K. Ambler, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Arthur Talt, of the J. C. Williamson managerial staff, left Wellington for Sydney with the Monte Carlo Russian Ballet this week. Mr W. Tait remained in Christchurch, and later will join the managerial staff of the Gladys Moncrieff company at Auek* land.
