SEASON IN HAMILTON. Entertaining sketches, attractive .allot work, clever tap dancing, and imusing specialty turns combine to .rovide an attractive programme for iie Connors and Paul Revue Comlitny, which will open in Hamilton next iridav night. Appropriately titled
‘Laugh, Town, Laugh,’ the show goes with a -swing from curtain to curtain. George Wallace leads the company through the many amusing sketches, and as chief comedian the hulk of the work falls upon his capable shoulders. Mike Connors and Queenie Paul, as well as Individually assisting In various items, present two delightful duets In a novel style, while Minnie Love gives an excellent characterisation of Grade Fields. Other performers who contribute to the success of the show include Edna Hardy and Harry Lock, tap dancers; the Marcellas, adagio harlequinade; Lulla Fanning, Nellie Kolle’, and Leo Trenette. Not the lest attractive work of the evening is that of the ballet. Ern. Beacham and his orchestra work overtime in providing the incidental music.
