MORRINSVILLE CLUB.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. The Morrinsville Croquet Club’s pavilion was gay with bowls of flowers in the club colours of violet, gold and lemon on Thursday when members assembled for the presentation of trophies for the season. The vice-president, Mrs T. E. Martin, apologised for the absence of the president, Mrs J. J. Doorty, who Is on a trip to England, and expressed regret that the secretary, Mrs R. J. Ramsay, was in hospital. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mrs R. Phllpott, a senior member, in the death of her son, Mr A. F. i Philpott, recently. The list of trophy-winners is a follows:—A ohamplonship and miniature, Mrs Phllpott, senr; runner-up trophy, Mrs L. Buchan; Wallace trophy, Mrs Phllpott; Meharry trophy, Mrs J. L. Faulkner; break trophy, Mrs Buchan; A Ladder Cup, Mrs Buchan; A consolation trophy, Mrs Hamilton; B Ladder Cup, Mrs Laurenson; B competition, Mrs Laurenson; C. competition, Mrs McConnell; A star, Mrs Doorty; B star, .Mrs Laurenson.
