WOMEN’S DIVISION.

TE ANQA BRANCH. The Te Anga branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union recently held a very successful sale of work in the local hall, the net proceeds totalling £2O. This sum will be devoted to the rendering of assistance to sick homes in the back country and relieving mothers in cases of family sickness. A social and dance followed the closing of the sales stalls. Novelty dances were won by Mrs M. Hunt anil Mr N. Hunter, and Miss ,M. Gordon and Mr W. Robertson.
