CHILDREN'S SCHOOL PICNIC. The Te Rore School picnic was held in Mr Adcock's paddock, and there waa a food attendance.
The races were won as follows: Small trlrls arid boys, M. Wilson i. Beryl Rice 2. C. Swlnburn 3, E. Coxhead 4; small boys’ race, Reid McKinnon 1, E. Coxhead 2, C. Swlnburn 3; girls’ 7r>yds, IV. Wilson 1, T. Wilson 2, U. Bell 3; boys’ 75yds. Allan I.angley 1, Jack McKinnon 2, Rolf Finn 3; three-legged race (girls), E. GodTrey and E. God Trey 1, June Wilson and Joan Ferrlman 2; three-legged (boys), Allan Duncan and Allan Coxhead 1, Jack McKinnon and RolT Finn 2, Jack Wilson and Ina Anderson 3; boys’ hair-mile, Allan Langley I. Ina Anderson 2, Allan Duncan 3: young ladies’ race. Gladys Holmes l, Joan Silvester 2. Lilly Silvester 3; stepping 1 chain, Miss L. Silvester i. Mrs 11. J. Coxhead 2; nail-driving, Mrs G. Krlppener 1. , single men. married men were all out Tor i 4C> runs, and single men winning with 49 runs for 2 wickets
