(Received Feb. 23, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 22. “General O’Duffy hopes, if he is on the winning side In Spain, to return to Ireland with, a Fascist army and establish a new Fascist State In 26 counties,” said Mr Sean MoEntee, when addressing the Flanna Fall Convention at Cavan.
“It is therefore essential that the •Fianna Fail at the next general election, which is almost certain before the autumn, should not merely retain all present seats but secure additional ones. It will be the task of the new Government to strive to win back the six northern counties.”
