THE NEW ZEALAND SALES.
DEMAND FROM AMERICA. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Following on the marked decline in Japanese wool-buying in New Ze’aland it was feared that values would drop from the high opening rates. However, it was then that Bradford, the Continent and the United States entered the market and the fillip given by the keen American purchasing of good length spinners’ wools has been largely responsible’ for the high prices obtained later.
iue United States has probably bought more extensively this selling year than in any other season since 1925-26.
