SUMMER RACES.

MEETING AT TE RAPA. THE SECOND DAY. PRINTED ENSEMBLES POPULAR Fine weather again prevailed for the second day of the summer meeting of the Waikato Racing Club held at Te Rapa yesterday, the lawns in the sunshine presenting a scene of colour with the flowered and printed frocks favoured by the majority. Navy often allied with white, or the more brilliant colours of blue and scarlet, formed attractive ensembles and navy tailored frocks were also greatly worn. Suits in the new rose beige shade and tailored frocks in cream and pastel coloured linens also were greatly favoured. Shady wide-brimmed hats in navy and Avhite were much in evidence yesterday, although the smaller types were to be seen.
