SOLOMON ISLANDS WORK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. The rapid spread of Methodism in the Solomon islands was recorded at the Methodist Conference. Last year 11 1 0 Solomons added 500 members and opened 32 stations. Methodism is now a power in the Western Pacific. The conference decided to restore the medical unit lo the Solomons next year. Dr. Allen Rutter was designated for Hie appointment. The Solomons contributed £3013 during 1936. an increase of £ 1328. The home churches’ total contribution for the missions last year was £10,402.
