(To the Editor.) Sir,—Mr Savage says that the Government is “opposed to conscription in all forms.” Would lie do something to abolish compulsory unionism? In the military forces a young man served for an hour or two per week for two years. Under compulsory unionism he serves practically his whole life, and the element of compulsion is the very worst, economic compulsion. Will the Prime Minister oppose that, I wonder? —I am, etc.,
