CORONATION PARTY.

MILITARY CONTINGENT. TERRITORIAL SELECTIONS. WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, announces that subject to their passing ttie final examination the following have been selected to represent the New Zealand Territorial Forces in the Coronation Contingent:—

Major Leckle, Captain Priokleton Captain Garruth, Lieutenant D. Sweetzer, Lieutenant it. W. iiaddow Lieutenant A. A. Tennant and FlyingOfficer D. E. Grigg.

The men are as follows: —Mounted Rifles: D. T. Watson (North Auckland), H. .1. Harris, D. Wickliffe (Auckland-East Coast), L. H. Bregmen (Waikato), K. .T. Murray (WellingtonWest Coast), I. B. Gibbs (Manawatu), R. H. Matthews (WellingtonEast Coast), L. T. Hoare (NelsonMarlborough), A. It. C. Nutt. (Canterbury Yeomanry), R. Tall (Otago). Artillery: W. J. Grant, w. P. Ape Ahama 21st Field Battery), ,1. A. Loyd (17tlx Battery), L. 0. Hodge (12th Battery). Infantry: H. D. Walters (North Auckland), H. D. Lysnar (Auckland), J. Y’oung (Hauraki), A. 11. Boulton (Waikato), H. J. Calgher (Taranaki). It. Miles (WellingtonWest Coast). H. R. Heiford (Hawke's Bay), C. James (Wellington), H. L. Williams (Nelson -Marlborough-West Coast). F. A. Gunn (Canterbury), 11. Hunter (Otago), A. G. McGregor (Southland). Engineers: N. W. Sarney (21st Field Company). Signal Corps: C. W. Carter (Southern Depot). Army Service Corps: W. R. Arlow (Second Composite Company).

The contingent goes into camp on February 26 and is due to sail by the ltangitikei on March 11.

Representatives or Hie regular forces have stilt !o be selected and a ballot is lo be held to decide Ibe two nurses. These names will be announced later with the names of ten returned soldiers not members of the territorial forces.
