A. ilislop, l\lr Coira, president of the New Zenland Surf Life Saving As‘ socialion, and Mr A. Kitto. on behalf or various athletic bodies. Replying, Mr J. Cameron, manager of the truth. said the members were proud to be included in the first. team to cross the Tasman with objects beyond those of athletic. competition and heextended an invitation to the New Zeaiand team to tour New South Wales in 1938. The Mayor interposed: “1' hope we will see you here again in 19-10,“ by which he meant for the centenary. Among those present were the Hon. P. Fraser. Minister of Health, repre~ senting the Government, and oflicial representatives from various sports organisations. ‘
