WOMEN’S DIVISION.

OTOROHANGA BRANCH. At the first meeting of the Otorotumga branch of the Women’s division oT the New Zealand Farmers’* Union, Mrs J. G. Petersen, Maihiihi, presided over a moderate attendance. The slogan of the meeting was “ Let us do things.” In the monthly flowers competition, Mrs Evans was awarded 194 points, Mrs Buekland being runner-up with 9 4 points. The Judges were Mrs Hartv (Honikiwi) and Mrs Stubbs (Waitomo). It was decided to hold a produce stall on January 27 to aid the Crippled Children’s Fund. It was arranged to provide toys for children visiting future meetings with their mothers. A hearty vote of thanks to all who assisted to make the Christmas tree such a success was passed.
