SCHOOL COMMITTEE. At the October meeting of the Putaruru School Committee a report was received from the sub-committee of ladies. statingthat arrangements had been made to hoitl a Paddy’s rmu'ket early in Dernmbor tn collect funds for general purposes. In connection with the installation or Wireless in the school it was decided to purchase two additional loud speakers for use in certain class rooms. ' Satisfaction was uxpressed that the school had maintained the roll that would place the school next year in higher grade.
