WEDDING.

GLASGOW—MULVANY. % 7 The marriage was solemnised at St. Benedict’s Church, Auckland,on Saturday, between Josephine, daugher of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas John Mulvany, of Auckland, and William Glasgow, of Te Awamutu, son of Mrs and the late Mr Charle’s Glasgow. The Rev. Father W. Flynn performed the ceremony, which was followed by nuptial Mass, and Miss O’Leary presided at the organ. The bride looked very lovely. She wore a gown of parchment satin, cut on long flowing lines and finishing in a short train, with wide sleeves, cuffs l of gold metal, and smocked satin bands over the shoulders. She wore a full veil with gold embroidered corners, while orange blossom divided the headband, and carried a bouquet of white and gold flowers. Miss Eileen Glasgow (sister of the bridegroom) was the bridesmaid, and wore a frock of deep corn patterned lace, with a slight train, wide sleeves divided by wide bands of deep gold satin, satin sash, soft bow, and long ends at the back. The neck was corded at the front with two soft gold satin loops, and she wore a large toning straw' hat. She carried a bouquet of golden spring flowers. The two flower girls were the Misses Eleanor and Joyce Andrews (nieces of the’ bride), of Waiuku. They wore long frocks, with crossover bodice of flower-sprigged cornshaped voile, with puff sleeves and gold satin bows at the neck, and flowing sashes of the same material. They wore straw hats to tone, and carried i posies of primroses. ' Mr Philip O’Brien (cousin of the I bride), was best man.

A bodyguard of Rover Scouts was present at the church, headed by Major Ward, the’ bridegroom having been for years a prominent officer of the Scouts and Rovers In Te Awamutu and Waikato.

After the ceYemony a reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, Mrs C. G. Andrews, of Waiuku (sister of the bride), receiving the guests, wearing smart black and white ensemble, with black glace hat and sables, and carrying a posy in golden tonlngs. Mrs Glasgow (mothe’r of the bridegroom), wore a navy coat and frock, with navy and white accessories, and wore a spray of spring flowers. Mrs S. Wright, of Hawera (a sister of the bride), wore a marina blue dull crepe satin ensemble: Mrs E. McCabe, of Whangare’i (sister of the bridegroom), a browm tweed suit and hat to tone; Miss Mulvany (aunt of the bride), a deep blue ensemble, with hat to tone, and Miss Agnes Mulvany (aunt of the bride), a black and white ensemble, with hat to tone.

When Mr and Mrs W. Glasgow left for the honeymoon, the bride travelled wearing a smart blue-grey handwoven swagger suit, wifh large’ navy bow at neck, navy glace straw hat, and navy accessories.

Among those present at the ceremony and reception were several members of the Alpine Sports Club, of which both bride and bridegroom were active members.
