.-.fi. +____ ANNUAL SRING FAIR. FIXTURE AT CLAUDELANDE. There was a large bench of buyers at the annual spring horse fair. which \\‘as hel-J at ulaudelands to-day, an entry of 120 horses of all classes being forward. Bidding was keen throughout the sale and a highly satisfactory clearance was effected at fully late rates, The sale was conducted by Messrs G. \V. Vernoe and Company. Prices for good quality useful farm sorts ranged from £4O to £53 105 with other sorts ranging in price from £2O to £34. Mr T. Church \\‘as the buyer at £53 105 of a useful hay mare sold on account of .\lr W. 11. )lellsop, while Mr 0. Thrupp was the final bid—der at £ll6 on an B—year—old hay mare from Mr S. F. Philburn, Mr .\. \\'. .lohnstone, of \\‘aitoa. was the \epdnr 01‘ a hay gelding which sold to Mr F. S. Better at. £46 105. while a brown gelding from Mr F. Usllorne sold to Mr W. Speedy.
