Kennedy. submitted plans showing that for the 'xpendiiure of £I4OO it would be 1305sihle to increase the present size of ihe ground by adding approximately two chains to its radius. After discussion .\lr lx’ennnriy was authorised to apply formally lo ihe Minister for the art union prrmit. Several speakers doubted whether ihe 'uli sum of £I4OO would he produced 'l)’ ihe art union, and it was subse—[uently decided to approarh ihe liorough Council to sponsor the im—provement scheme and to, if neces—sary. raise a loan for the purpose.
