KANAPA LOOKS THE PART MUDLARKS SHOULD PERFORM PROMINENTLY (BY “MARTIAN.”) The fields carded for the annual meeting of the Opotiki Jockey Club, at Tauranga, on the King’s Birthday, June 23, are striking indication of the growing popularity of racing at Tauranga and with a strong entry from Te Rapa stables indications point to a big influx of visitors from these parts to that centre on Tuesday. All events have filled well and with the requisite material available the day should be productive of interesting racing.
