E INTERESTING ADDRESS GIVEN.
The monthly meeting of the Women‘s Auxiliary of the Y.M.—Y.W.C.A. was held in the Lounge on \VednesdaY :ii‘iernoon. Owing to the unavoid—able absence of Mrs Jacka, the president. .\lrs Earle, presided and introiuued to the members .\1155 Saunders. \"\V.CA. secretary, who is relieving Miss Scoiier for a short period.
The speaker for the afternoon was Sister vaoholls, who gave an inspiring address on her work amongst the Mam-is. Songs and elocution by visitors helped to make a very enjoyable afternoon.
After afternoon tea. Mr Long. general sevretm-y, congratulated the members 01‘ the Auxiliary on the success of HIP (101 l stall organised by the Y.\\’.C4A. at the \Vintel' Show‘ It was decided by the auxiliary to send a special letter or appreriatmn to Mrs 'l'rcloar. thanking her for the outstanding manner in which she had assisted.
