Dr. A. L. Wilson. at the medical stat! of the \\'aikato Hospital, stated that he examined the deceased when he was brought into the hospital. He was suflering from mild concussion. a small wound in the left temple r 8510" and bruises and abrasions on the left ileg. Ills condition was not serious. Witness had known deceased for some time and stated that he had suffered irom internal trouble for three or four years. in the iew days after his admission after the accident a recurrence of the internal trouble developed and Mo?gan‘s rondltion gradually became {worse and he died on April 19. Both stated that the car which struck the old man “as of a blue-grey colour and both made unsuccesslul attempts‘ to take the number of the car as it. speeded away from the scene. John Frederick Karl. farmer, ot Paterangi, did not see the old man :knocked down but heard the crash. :The car had passed him prior to the laccident, and he thought that it was on the correct side 0! the road.
