_.._.__ ‘ A PROGRESSIVE VEAR. ‘ REVIEW’ OF ACTIVITIES. i Satisfactory progress for the year iwas revealed at the annual meeting of tthe Church of Christ. Hamilton, held .nn Thursday evening. Pastor J. Salis—‘bury presided, and congratulated the church on the results of the year's work and the (the spirit or co-opera-tion existing among the members. The church roll showed an increase of six utter adjustments, the total membership being 203 at the. end of the year. The treasurer reported a total income for the year of £550. with at credit balance of s3l 105 4d. Hi this £32 fi-s "id was devoted to foreign mission and 523 was required to liquidate the building debt. Twenty three departmental reports covering the varied activities revealed steady progress. The Sunday school. and Bible classes reported increased at—tendance. and some of the scholars acquitted themselves Very creditably in the Auckland Sunday School extillliltlliiull‘fi. one scholar winning the president‘s prize for the best work in her class for the .-~nd province. All the young people's societies, which included the tiliristian Endea—vour, students‘ class. Printed Teacher int-inty. YD. Missionary Committee. tennis and winter clubs and the band 01‘ llupe. were well sustained.
