The Sun-Herald says that, after living for 30 years as a woman, .\lary \Veston, who was British woman put—ting the shot champion for six years from 1924, jevelin champion in 1927, and international _ putting the shot champion in 1934. has changed her sex and become a man. She consulted a specialist early in the year and underwent two opera—tions. A doctor yesterday issued the following certillcate: “ Air Mark Weston. who was brought up as a female, is a male, and should continue to live as such." .\ir Weston, who lives at Plymouth, explains that not until competing in tho worht‘s championships at Prague in 1928 dill he realise that. he might not he a woman. It now seems natural that 1 am a man.“
