KILLIP SHIELD GAMES. DRAW FOR TO-MORROW. KAIPAKI MEET TECHNICAL. The second series of games in the Waikato Hockey Association's senior championship competition for the Killip Memorial Shield will be played at Steele Park to-morrow. After the lengthy spell of fine weather, the grounds are in first class order and fast games should result. After their double defeat of the last year’s champions. Old Boys, Kaipaki will be ruling favourites in their match against Old Technicals, but the latter have not yet been pressed and they have the capacity to stage, a surprise. The second game between Cambridge and Colls should also provide an interesting encounter. The draw is as follows: Senior.—Kaipaki v. Old Technicals, No. 1 ground, 1.45 p.m.; Cambridge v. Colts. TE AWAMUTU, Friday. A further stage in the competitions under the control of the Waipa Hockey Association will be reached to-mor-row, when games will be played in Te Awamutu and district. A full card in both men’s and the ladies’ sections is set down for decision and followers of the code should be provided with plenty to entertain them to-morrow. At Albert Park. Te Awamutu, Otorohanga Colts will meet Te Awamutu B, at 2.30 p.m., and Pirongia will try conclusions with Te Rahu, commencing at 2 p.m. Paterangi and High School will also meet at Albert Park, at 1.15 p.m. Te Awamutu A will have a match away from home when they will play Otorohanga on the latter club’s grounds at 2.30 p.m. Games will also be played in the ladies’ competition when the following schedule will be observed at Te Awamutu, at 3 p.m.; Korakonui v.
