MORRINSVILLE SALE. AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report that at the weekly Morrinsville etook sale on Saturday a medium entry of fat sheep came forward, comprising chiefly fat ■wethers and ewes. Competition was keen throughout, and last week’s advanced rates were fully maintained. A smaller yarding of fat lambs sold at schedule*rates. Store Sheep: A medium yarding of store lambs came forward, including several pens of lambs off high country ex the East Coast. There was good competition throughout and advanced rates were realised. There was a large entry of fat ewes, including the advertised line of Gisborne sheep. Although the attendance was not so large as previous sales, buyers were present in good numbers and a satisfactory sale resulted. A noticeable feature was the advamoe reoorded in aged ewes, In faot, the whole yarding of store sheep changed hands at quite satisfactory values. Fat Cattle: A smaller entry of beef, with an average yarding of boner cattle. Two pens of prime ox beef offered on account of Messrs Howie Bros., of Morrinsville, were keenly eought, making up to £lO 12s 6d. Cow and heifer beef sold well up to last week’s rates. Second quality cattle showed no appreciable variation in values. A small yarding of boner cow's and bulls sold on a par with last week’s rates. Store Cattle: The advertised entry of store cattle came forward in excellent order and attracted a very large and representative bench or buyers from all parts of the Wa.xato and Auckland districts. Competition, especially, for grown oattle was keen throughout, and a total clearance was effected at advanced ruling rates. The entry comprised a good proportion of female cattle, for whioh competition was better than any previous sale this season. Pigs: A full yarding of fat pigs with competition keen for all baconers. Porkers sold at prices slightly in advance of last sale’s quotations. A smaller entry of stores and weaners sold steadily at values considerably firmer. We quote:—Fat sheep: Fat wethers made up to 35s 9d; medium fat ewes, 15s 6d to 16s 6d; lighter, 14a to 15s; heavy fat lambs, 22s to 235; lighter, up to 20s 9d. Store Sheep: Ewe lambs, up to 24s 9d; mixed sex store lambs, 14s to 15s 3d; woolly store lambs, 16s 7d to 17s fid; shorn werther lams. 14s 8d to 16s 8d; smaller woolly lambs, 13s to 15s; cull lambs, 8s 6d; two-tooth ewes, 30s lOd to 345; four and six-tooth ewes, from East Coast, 27s 6d to 31s 3d; smaller, 25s Id to 265; four-year-old 26b Id; flve-yoar-old ewes, 22s 3d to 22s 9d; four and five-year-old ewes, good line ex North Auckland, 27s to 27s 2d; six-year ewes, 19s fid to 21s 6d; sound mouth ewes, 15s to 18s; old ewes, 12s to 14s; one-shear Southdown rams, 5* gns to 6 gns; older rams, 1$ to 3 gns.
