LINE STRAIGHTENED. CHANGES IN THE COMMAND. Quadroo nand Palustre. Abbess of Wbltby (Received Feb. 22, 3 p.m.) ROME, Feb. 21. It is officially announced that while Abyssinian smoke signals announced :heir unresisted advance, General San‘.ini’s first army corps, of 20,000 men, occupied 1180 aditional square miles of territory, including Aderat, Adiadera, Buia Plain and Mounts Gomolo and' Gorajam, roughly 16 to 22 miles south of Makale and 15 miles from Amba Alagi. This straightens out a dangerous bend in the Italian salient, improving the communications. LONDON, Feb. 21. The Rome correspondent of the Times says General Babbini has been gazetted to the command of the Fourth Special Army Corps in Abyssinia, implying further changes in the military organisation.
