CHILDREN’S CAMP.
FINE WEATHER TO-DAY. “'ith a big improvement in the weather a very bright day was enjoyed by the children at the \Vaikato Child—ren‘s. ramp at the Wailmto Heads today. Yesterday was one, of tho wettest [1335 yet experienced at the. camp. but. with the i'nr‘ilities now well up to date the l‘lllldl'Pll were kept dry and amused themselves chiefly with con—cei‘ls in the hall. After two Very wet days the bright sunshine to-clay was particularly wel~ r‘ome as the camp m'nunm were show—ing signs of the prolonged flownpoulu The rain has treshened up the ground and surroundings. The rhilrlrrn this morning-r were the happiest they have m‘m- been having well Settlml (lawn to thr-ir Camp lite and looking forward to many more sunny days. There has heen no sickness and fewer minor injuries such as stuhbeti toes and the like. \\'ord has been received that the r.m'ornM—General and Lady Galway will visit the camp at 2 13.111. on Satui‘duy.
