CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES. \VELLING’I‘ON. Tuesday. Though a detlnite date has not been tixed yet, the Minister of Labour, the Hon. 11. 'l‘. Armstrong. is to call a conference 01' representatives of employers and employees to discuss the proposed alterations in the labour laws. One or the main subjects will be a. shorter working week. Mr Armstrong sold this matter would he one of the mhin issues at the International Labour Conference at Geneva in June The Cabinet has not yet discussed the question of being represented there, but he in—dicated it was desirable that the Dominion should send a delegate.
