It is a mechanical maid-of-all-work. It lashes, rinses, polishes, and sterilises crockery and cutlery, and is guaranteed never to smasli a dish, though dealing with thousands hourly. Plates, cups, saucers, glasses, knives and forks enter on an endless holt at one end and emerge scrupulously clean at the other.
