•PHOTOGRAPHING PRINCES. AMUSING INCIDENT. LONDON, Oct. 2. Cameraman Bill Turner has enriched Fleet Street bibliography with a volume called “ Eyes on the Press,” says the Daily Express. Something of the agony endured •by the Prince of Wales as “the world’s, most photographed man” is told by* Turner. “ Sorry to come bothering you, sir,” ■began one picture-hawk. “ That’s the sixth time you’ve said that recently," sighed the Prince, calling the man by his name. He knows most of the leading Press photographers, their names, quality of their work. Turner hung round a Cowes bungalow in tlic pouring rain to get a picture of Queen Mary. Finally the Queen came out. Seeing the bedraggled figure she posed under an umbrella. “ Now, Mr Photographer, we’ll have a nice picture." It was lo another Press man, however, that the Duke of York suddenly said: “Look here, you’re always taking pictures of me. Let me take one of you.” And he did.
