Miss Chrisline 'McNeil. 8.A.. a daughter of Mr Angus McNeil, senior, inspector of schools lor Hie Canterbury dislriel, lias been appointed head - mistress of lona College to succeed Miss Stoliery who is lo resign in December. Miss McNeil lias been a member of the staff for eight years.
