EUREKA FUNCTIONS.
ENJOYABLE DANCE. A very enjoyable dance was held in the half recently, when there was a very large attendance, visitors being present from all the surrounding districts. „ ■Clarrie CressweH's Blue Rhythm Boys supplied excellent music and Aliss Rene George gave extras. During the evening a waltzing competition was held in which the competition was very keen. The judges, Airs Murray and Mr Fordoff, finally awarded the prize to Airs Worth and Air Murphy, of Hamilton, with 'Miss Robinson and Mr Smith, of Te Aroha,- second. Flag five-hundred was provided for non-dancers, Alesdames R. AlcKerrow and R. Townsend and Air R. AlcKerrow gaining the highest scores. A novelty dance was won by Miss AlcGarry and partner. Aliss AlcGarry was "also the winner of a competition. A delicioius home-made supper was served, the arrangements being in the charge of Mrs Young. Air E. Johns was M.C.

LADIES’ SOCIAL. CLUB. The Ladies’ Social 'Club held its monthly meeting on Wednesday afternoon, Airs Harris presiding. A pleasant time was spent playing Rag 500, Mrs K. Inglis, Alisses Lozcll and Harris being the winners. Mrs Harris was the winner of a competition. Airs Young and Alisses Lozcll and G. Townsend served afternoon tea. Among those present were: Afesdamos Harris, Young, ’lownscnd, Larsen, K. Inglis, Hunter, Stokes, P. LUarkin, Powdrill. Misses G. Townsend, N. Harris, Lozcll (2), AI. McLennan, G. Inglis and 11. Salcman. Card Evening. The Ladies’ Social Club were responsible for a very enjoyable card evening which was held in the hall on Wednesday. The successful players were Alesdamcs A. Powdrill ami A. Hidgley (Waiuku) and AI. Gresswoll. Among lliose present, were: Alesdamcs Young, Harris, Townsend. Larsen, Shine, K. Inglis, It. MeKerrow. Misses B.
